About Xiaopei Chinese Dance

Xiaopei Chinese Dance was established on March 1, 2009, by the renowned professional dancer Xiaopei He Gelb, and quickly attracted local Chinese dance students and dance lovers. The number of students desiring classes grew rapidly and, on April 1, Xiaopei Chinese Dance moved to its new home in a beautiful facility, “Spark Dance Studio,” at 3550 Bernal Avenue, Suite 100, in Pleasanton, California 94566. There, Chinese dance will flourish among the Studio’s ballet, jazz, tap, and other dance genres. The mission of Xiaopei Chinese Dance is to provide professional and authentic Chinese classic, folk, and ethnic minority dance classes and programs; to display and promote the splendid Chinese culture through dance; and to develop and train talented, strong, graceful, and confident students and dancers.
